Irish improvisational production duo Solen meld abrasive electronic polyrhythms onto a heavy sub bass that drives their tracks relentlessly. ‘Lord’ feels epic, building tension from the opening bar and delivering an ending that will bring dancefloors to meltdown. ‘Block’, with ts caustic synths and ultra tight drum programming, is more subtle and electronic but no less heavy.
